Bricked? Don’t worry, I too thought that I bricked my phone during the installation process. It was so simple solution. Actually it happened of the same mistake that you performed and I had done. The problem is due to the the boot image not loaded on the booting system. And your phone has just stuck at the White background with a logo of HTC.
